DOLE releases Labor Day online job fair link for Region 8
In honor of Labor Day, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) launched various links on Tuesday, April 27, where job hunters throughout the country can apply for over 26,000 local and overseas job openings in a nationwide online job fair.
Eastern Visayans can access the region’s Virtual Career Fair on May 1-3 through the following link: https://www.jobstreet.com.ph/career-resources/virtual-career-fair-registration/.
Jobs in Region 8, all over the Philippines, and oversees will be available.
Meanwhile, job hunters looking for work in Region 8 should also visit the WN Jobs Portal, which is the most comprehensive and updated source of job opportunities in Samar, Leyte, and Biliran. Job hunters can access all private employment and government job opportunities in Region 8 through the following link: waraynews.com/jobs.
The Virtual Career Fair on May 1-3 will feature 567 employers all over the Philippines from sectors such as engineering, business process outsourcing, health care, retail, and construction.
522 participating employers will sell offer 23,000 local openings, mainly for plant managers, factory employees, customer service agents, nurses, cashiers, baggers, masons, and carpenters.
Meanwhile, 45 participating employers will offer over 3,000 positions overseas whereby nurses, factory employees, technicians, nursing aides or healthcare assistants, and cleaners are among the available positions.
The Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan Job and Business Fair is being arranged digitally by the Bureau of Local Employment, DOLE regional offices, and the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) in accordance with mass gathering restrictions.
The online job fairs are being held in partnership with websites such as JobStreet, JobQuest, Workbank, Vantagehunt, Mynimo, Hotjobs, Zoom, and the country’s network of Public Employment Service Offices (PESO).
